Funky, fresh, and froggy are a few ways to describe Lansing’s prominent emo 4-piece, no problemo!, but that’s putting it plainly.

Comprised of other beloved DIY Michigan band members such as Tournament, FinalBossFight!, and Dad Caps, it’s hard not to see the beauty of what no problemo! stands for.

Twinkling until your heart gives out in 2024, no problemo! dropped their acclaimed EP Year of the Frog, showing promise that emo is alive, well, and dammit, just good ol’ fun. Songs that will have you 2-stepping as if it’s in your DNA, such as “MVP” or “r/Emo Drive,” to hard hitting ballads like “twitter is a beautiful place & and I am no longer afraid to die,” no problemo! has it all.
