Kate Haralson, a Cincinnati native, grew up a music dork and aspired to be a cruise ship lounge singer. Those dreams were incompatible with her fear of communicable diseases, so she joined a Ryan Adams cover band in 2008 and experimented with writing her own music, recording a couple records and touring a bit on the way.
Her closest brush with fame was opening for The Civil Wars, and John Paul White definitely does not remember her. After a ten year hiatus raising several mammals (mostly dogs and humans), she’s back on the scene with new material and imposter syndrome. She is always flattered anyone listens and thinks feedback is a gift.
