A long-time admiration of synthesizers, video game OSTs and dance came together in 2024 to bring the Gloss Ave. project to life.

After a transition from performing with rock bands for some years, Cincinnati-based musician and artist, Mitchell Sturkey, goes solo as he leans towards a more upbeat electronic sound inspired by genres such as deep-house and chillwave.

All sounds emanating from a compact briefcase rigged with tiny synths, drum machines and sequencers.
