Heist is a heavy progressive rock trio from Cincinnati, Ohio consisting of Michael Ragan (guitar), designer Michael Clouse (drums), and Taylor Thodiyil joining on bass after the tragic passing of Taylor’s partner and multi-instrumentalist Ty Holiday in March 2024.

Drawing upon their skillset as visual and multimedia artists, the band is known for their intricate light shows and projected visuals as well as their technical musical prowess.

The band’s debut self-titled Heist EP was recorded in 2021 between Radio Artifact’s live sessions and Ragan’s home studio. The EP showcases Heist’s ability to create dynamic, hard-driving rock music, complementing incendiary guitar shredding with sincere, socially conscious punk lyricism.
